Terms & Conditions of Use

By using www.aiasbharat.com, creating an account, enrolling in a course or buying a publication, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

 

1. About us

The site is run by Abhinavagupta Institute of Advanced Studies Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit company (CIN U72200KL2024NPL089094; PAN ABBCA1899C). 2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be 18 or older, or use the site with a parent's or guardian's consent.

  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

  • One account per person. Course access cannot be shared, resold or transferred unless we agree in writing.

 

3. Courses and programmes

  • Course descriptions, schedules, faculty and fees are shown on each course page before you pay.

  • We may change faculty, dates or format (online or in person) for good reason. If a change is material, you may cancel for a full refund under our Refund Policy.

  • Certificates are issued on meeting the course's stated requirements. Unless a course page says otherwise, AIAS certificates are certificates of participation or completion. They are not degrees or university-recognised qualifications.

  • Live sessions may be recorded for students' later use. We will tell you before recording begins.

 

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated. International cards may incur conversion fees from your bank.

  • You can pay by Wix checkout on the site, by UPI or bank transfer to the AIAS Foundation account, or by PayPal or Wise from outside India. Pay only to accounts listed on our website or in our official emails.

  • For UPI or bank transfer, keep your transaction reference. Your place is confirmed once we verify the payment.

  • We do not store card or bank log-in details. There are no hidden charges, and any delivery charge is shown before you pay.

 

5. Intellectual property

All course content, recordings, notes, translations, publications, images, and the AIAS name and logo belong to AIAS Foundation or its licensors, and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, record, share, upload, sell or publish them, or use them to train software, without written permission. Brief quotation with citation in scholarly work is allowed.

 

6. Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse or discriminate against students, faculty or staff

  • Post unlawful, defamatory, obscene or misleading content

  • Impersonate anyone or misuse others' data

  • Disrupt the site, attempt unauthorised access, or upload malware

  • Use the site for commercial solicitation without our consent

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, with notice where practical. A refund for unused paid services may be considered case by case.

 

7. Third-party links

The site links to other sites, such as IKS India and social media. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

 

8. Limitation of liability

We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course or product in question. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

 

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any issue first through our Grievance Redressal Policy. Subject to that, courts at Kozhikode, Kerala (our registered office) have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

 

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in force when you buy a course or product applies to that purchase.
