Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 20 October 2026

If you cancel within 7 days of enrolling and have used less than 20% of a course, you get a full refund. Approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7 working days.

 

1. Online courses and programmes

  • Within 7 days of payment, and less than 20% of content accessed (self-paced) or before the first live session (scheduled): 100% refund.

  • After 7 days, or after 20% of content or the first live session: no refund. You may transfer once to a later batch, subject to availability.

  • AIAS cancels, postpones by more than 30 days, or materially changes the course: 100% refund, or a transfer if you prefer.

  • Duplicate or failed payment charged to you: 100% refund.

 

2. Workshops, seminars, lectures and in-person events

  • 7 or more days before the event: 100% refund.

  • 3 to 6 days before: 50% refund, or a full transfer to another event.

  • Less than 72 hours before, or no-show: no refund. You may send a substitute participant by informing us in writing.

  • AIAS cancels or reschedules: 100% refund, or a transfer if you prefer.

Travel and accommodation you book yourself are not refundable by AIAS.

 

3. Publications (books)

  • Report a damaged, defective, misprinted or wrong item within 7 days of delivery, with a photo. We will replace it at no cost or give a full refund, including shipping.

  • Other returns: unused books in original condition within 7 days of delivery. You pay return shipping; the book price is refunded once we receive it.

  • You may cancel an order at no charge before it is dispatched.

  • Digital publications (e-books, PDFs) cannot be returned once downloaded, unless the file is faulty.

 

4. Not refundable

  • Donations to AIAS Foundation (except payments made in error and reported within 7 days)

  • Nomination or application fees, if any (for example, for the Rajānaka Puraskār), unless the programme is cancelled

  • Certificates already issued

 

5. How to request a refund

  1. Email aiasbharat@gmail.com with the subject "Refund request", your name, order or enrolment number, and the reason.

  2. We acknowledge within 48 hours and decide within 7 working days.

  3. Approved refunds go to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval: the same UPI ID or bank account for transfers, or the same PayPal or Wise account for international payments. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

  4. Refunds are made in Indian Rupees. We are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or international bank charges.

If you disagree with a decision, please use our Grievance Redressal Policy. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
