Dr. R Ramanand

Dr. R. Ramanand, born in 1988 in Pantheerankave, Kozhikode district, Kerala, is a passionate social scientist and scholar. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and World History, a Master's degree in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work, and has cleared the UGC NET/JRF in Social Work. He completed his MPhil in Public Health at the Center for Social Medicine and Community Health at Jawaharlal Nehru University, where he also earned a PhD in Social Sciences in Health, focusing on the transformation and engagement of pluralism in yoga with biomedicine. With extensive experience in Kashmir Saiva Tantra, Dr. Ramanand has authored numerous articles and books, including "Paramarahasyam," "Tantrarahasyam," "Vijnanabhairava Tantra," "Kuttichathan Ayyappan Sasthav," and "Kashmira Saivam." In addition to his scholarly pursuits, he is a screen playwright, lecturer, and writer. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Abhinavagupta Institute of Advanced Studies.
